we had the ultimate task of selling 4,000 seats of a Broadway-style
clown show (International Clown Festival).

Our audience, mainly upper-middle-class parents with kids between 4 and 9, didn't know anything about the show. The International Clown Festival is an unparalleled theatre show featuring clowns from across the globe. The 90-minute show is divided into various acts, and each act will include a gag or a hilarious musical. Juggling, acrobatics, magic and other circus tricks are a part of the acts. As interesting as it may sound to parents, it is uncommon to see parents take their kids to a 90-minute theatre show, especially if the show itself is something they're hearing about for the first time.
